Monday Morning Prayer

“Heavenly Father, it seems as if every month brings about disappointment because I pray for a child and nothing happens! I don’t understand why I have to suffer like this! But in your Word You say that I am to rejoice in my sufferings, because it gives me perseverance for the journey ahead, and perseverance brings about better character in me, and character; hope. I praise you for your great love, which has been shed in my heart by your Holy Spirit, which gives me hope that does not disappoint, as I continue to believe in You. Thank you! In Jesus name, Amen.”

Romans 5:3-5, I Peter 2:6 NAS

thanks for thhe prayer Lesli

Thank you, Lord, for leading me to this page. And yes, I’m experiencing the same feelings, disappointments followed by more disappointments, but I felt that I have reached the bottom of the pit and it’s time for the Lord to interject as I know that I can’t rely on my strength alone. Only Jesus can help me and I know He will lift me up soon! All praises to the Lord, Jesus! Hallellujah!

You’re welcome Jeniene! I’m with ya girl!

Amanda, I am grateful that THE LORD’s guidance to this page. That in and of itself shows how much HE LOVES YOU and is faithful to meet you on your journey. Even though we don’t understand the disappointments after so much prayer, asking and believing. I say that our ‘disappointments are just set-ups for an appointment with Him.’ Keep crying out to Him, Amanda. He will meet you where you are. Praying for you this moment.

Best to you both,

Hi Lesli

Hi Amanda,

Thanks for your compliments. For some reason your comments have not shown up on my end…I just now saw them (sorry). Thank you for your encouragement to me and to those who read this blog. Much needed!
