Prayer for When You and Your Spouse Disagree

A Prayer for When You and Your Spouse Disagree
by Lesli A. Westfall

“Gracious God, my quest to have a child had brought conflict into my marriage. I feel as if my spouse and I are divided. Father, (as a wife) I ask for help to adapt myself and to respect my husband and his decisions; Father, (as a husband), I ask for help to love my wife like Christ, to be understanding and not harsh toward her. As a couple, help our communication to be full of grace and our actions toward one another to be loving and kind. As we seek you and Your perfect plan, may we be at peace  with one another and walk in agreement. I thank You that our fertility journey will not separate us but bring unity in our marriage now and for our future.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
