Morning Prayer – Conception

What do you do when you’ve done everything to make a baby?

What do you do when you’ve spent all your savings on fertility treatments?

What do you do when the doctors have told you, like they’ve told me, “There’s no hope for you to conceive.”?

You pray, and you keep on praying. You might say, “But Lesli, I’m so tired.” I know you are sweet friend, I know you are. I want to encourage you to keep praying and ‘keep standing firm’ (Ephesians 6:13) along with a heart of praise and thanksgiving too.

Love y’all,

“Heavenly Father, thank You that I am fearfully and wonderfully made by You! I desire faith like Abraham, believing that ‘You exist and that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You’. You said, ‘I would find You, God, when I seek You with all of my heart’. Father, I choose to seek You first, along this fertility journey. I praise You as You said in the Bible, that ‘You would bless the fruit of my womb, the number of my days you would fulfill and that none shall be barren among your people’. I thank You that infertility and sterility have been nailed to the Cross of Calvary through the sacrifice of Your dear Son, Jesus Christ! I thank you now, for giving me faith and hope to believe for a miracle! In Jesus’ name, Amen!”

Scripture for Reflection: Deuteronomy 7″12-13, Psalm 113:9, 139:14, Matthew 6:33, Luke 1:36-37, Hebrews 11:1, 6 & 11.

Hi Kat,

I’ve prayed for you and I know others will pray for you too. Hang in there! God is faithful to see you through this season. He loves you and longs to give you (us) the desires of our hearts.

My husband and I have been married for four years and we have been trying to conceive the whole four years. I have moments of feeling confident that my healing is on it’s way, and I have moments of feeling like I just want to give up trying. Prayer for both myself and my husband would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kristina,

I can understand how you feel. Unfortunately, the up and downs of the emotions and faith is part of this crazy journey. I will be praying for you and your husband, and for God, to grant the desires of your heart, but most of all, for you to have joy and peace in the midst of this season. Romans 15:13, God bless you, Lesli
