Monday Morning Prayer
This past week has marked Baby Loss Awareness Week here in the U.S. I know infertility is a struggle in itself, but for one who’s had trouble conceiving, then experiencing a miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant loss the grief can be multiplied. For this week’s Monday Morning Prayer I’ve included the topic, Miscarriage, Stillbirth & Infant Loss. I realize by the shear number of women reading this you have dealt with the pain. A pain so intense you probably feel as if you couldn’t breathe or possibly make it another day. But there is help and hope, most of all there’s comfort through the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to continue to pray, cry out your heart to Him. Our God is faithful, He will hear you and answer you with His love and great comfort.
If you feel you need additional help I encourage you to read, Experiencing Grief by H. Norman Wright and / or attend a local Griefshare program at a nearby church. (www.griefshare.org) Both are excellent resources to get you through this trying time.
My heart feels for you today. My arms are wrapping around you {virtually}, my friend. Hold on to Jesus! He will carry you through!
Love,
Lesli
Miscarriage Infant Loss
“Heavenly Father, the loss is heartbreaking. I feel as if I am walking through the valley of the shadow of death, but your Word tells me ‘to fear no evil, for You are with me.’ Father, You said ‘You would never leave me or forsake me’. I ask for your presence now to bless and comfort my heart that mourns over the loss of life in my womb. I praise You when You say in Your Word, ‘that none will miscarry or be barren in your land and that you will give a full life span’. Father, I am believing and declaring Your Word over my future. Thank you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
