Morning Prayer ~ Anger

prayer

Anger

“Heavenly Father, I feel so angry and frustrated about my fertility challenges. I ask for Your divine love to flow through me, for Your love is patient and kind, and not easily angered. Help me to be slow in my speech and slow in anger when it comes to dealing with my family members, friends or doctor. Help me not to be angry with you God, for all I am going through and with all that I don’t understand. Most of all, keep me from sinning against You or any one else in my anger. Thank you, Father for the release from anger within my heartIn Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Proverbs 15:18 NAS, I Corinthians 13:4-7, Ephesians 4:26, James 1:19-20

Thank you for sharing this, Lesli. I really needed this prayer today. I found out that yet another co-worker of mine is pregnant. To make matters worse, she spent half the day complaining about it and how much pain she was already in. It was all I could do not to scream and tell her how I really felt! I’m trying hard to see God’s plan throughout this fertility struggle, so thank you for the reminder.

You’re welcome Amber. Sorry you’ve had a rough day. I can empathize with you. I encourage you to keep the prayer and scripture before you to help with your emotions daily. We don’t always know why or understand WHY we have to go through this, but it’s just that we are going THROUGH not to stay. With His Word and His grace we can get to the end of this hard journey. Hang in there!

Much love to you,
Lesli
